11 AND 12 AUGUST PHONICS (BEGINNER AND ADVANCED), STORYTELLING AND READING SESSIONS (WEEK 2)

In our beginner lesson, they had learned alphabets K and L. During activity session, we guide children to make a paper visor.
Through paper visor, we can train their creativity, eye-hand coordination, focus, concentration and so forth.
After they completed their paper visor, teacher guided children to sing “wheels on the bus” song.
While singing, we pretend to go picnic and all children have to put on their paper visor.

In story telling session, we teach them to read “octopus” article.

They had learned a lot of new words such like tentacles, slithers, suckers, den, slippery, funnel and so on.

We can see that children very enjoy with this session.

After that, I gave them a spelling; amazingly, they can score very well in their spelling.

During activity session, each of them has to read the article on the stage, this is because, and we want to enhance their reading skill, confidence and also to train their expression on reading.

For our Sunday advanced phonics session, I guided them to learn about “months”
(January, February, March, April, May, and June).

They learn how to pronounce and read.
In the activity session, I let them to do paper visor. T
hrough paper visor, we can train their creativity, eye-hand coordination, focus, concentration and so forth.

While in story telling session, I gave them “octopus” article.

It is a very easy article for them to understand.

After that, I gave the children some reading assessment.

Where each of them have to read reader one story (It’s time to get a haircut).

Our children are only 5 and 6 years old.

But they can read very well.
